3.9. Compass Replacement
3.9.1. Platform Model Ku 1201
1.
Locate and disconnect the compass from the internal wiring, removing (2) screws securing the
compass in place. Remove the grommet out of place and slide the cable out of the opening.
2.
Slide one grommet over the new compass cable, feed cable through opening in Feedboom
bracket and slide second grommet over the cable. Compass cable tail end should face away
from reflector.
3.
Push grommets into place.
4.
Install compass on BUC mounting plate. Ensure logo on compass is facing out so it’s viewable.
5.
Connect compass cable to internal harness connector exiting the Feedboom.
