3.2.2. Elevation Belt Tension
Elevation Belt Tensioning Stage 1
NOTE:
If a tension device/meter is not available please ensure there is little to no movement in the
belt after tensioning is completed.

Measure the Pulley belt tension using tension meter and ensure tension is set at 550 ±28 Hz
for 1201 and 380 ±20 Hz for 981, 985, and 755. Use positioning of the Wedge to increase or
decrease belt tension; Sliding Wedge in will increase tension, while sliding out will decrease it.
12.
Lift the bottom of the motor up applying tension onto the belt; pushing Wedge in will hold
tension in place.
13.
Tighten screw applying Loctite; torque as specified in
Appendix 1.
NOTE
: Adjustment must be completed within 5 minutes of applying Loctite to threads.
14.
Congratulations you have successfully replaced the Elevation Motor.
