3.9.2. Platform Model Ku 981
1.
Locate and disconnect the compass from the internal wiring, removing (2) screws securing the
compass in place.
2.
Install the new compass with the label facing out and cable facing away from the reflector.
3.
Feed cable through the feed arm bar and connect to the internal wiring coming from the Pol
assembly.
3.9.3. Platform Model Ka 755/985
1.
Locate and disconnect the compass from the internal wiring, removing (2) screws securing the
compass in pace.
2.
Install the new compass label facing out on the feed horn protection bracket. Ensure cable end
is opposite to metal ear. Connect the compass cable to external cable coming out the feed
arm.
