3.4.   Replacing the Polarization Assembly for a 1201 Platform 

 

Required Materials: 

•

  Misc hand tools and fasteners 

•

  Replacement Polarization Assembly 

 
 

1. 

Remove cover and disconnect all cable from the POL Cage Assembly. 
 

2. 

Install Feed Rotator Arm Assembly onto POL Cage Assembly. Ensure the Rotator Feed Arm is 
facing in the opposite direction as that from the Feed Horn. Tighten specified screws. 

 

 

 

3. 

Install POL cage assembly onto Feed Arm. Insert side with Rotator Arm first into top Feed 
Boom Pivot and ensure its pointing away from reflector.
