11.4.1 Changing cutting knives
WARNING
Risks from ejected grinding particles while the cutting knives are
being sharpened!
These hazards cause severe injury, in particular eye injuries.
Always wear safety goggles while sharpening cutting knives.
Always wear cut-resistant protective goggles while sharpening the
cutting knives
When preparing to work on the cutting unit, you should move the
cutting unit to a working height that is as ergonomic as possible.
Before working on the cutting unit, remove the accessory
equipment or switch off the tractor and secure it against start-up
and rolling away!
Prevent the cutting unit from lowering, e.g. by using a safety
support.
Use suitable means (e.g. wooden board) to cover the knives
during installation work.
Wear suitable protective clothing (cut-resistant protective gloves,
work overalls).
Wear a helmet when the cutting unit is raised.
