Transporting the accessory equipment (regulations applicable to the tractor)
While traveling on public roadways, observe the road traffic
regulations applicable in the respective country!
Before transporting equipment, verify:
That supply lines have been properly connected.
That a lighting beam is properly installed and connected if
the lighting system of the tractor is covered by the mounted
accessory equipment.
That the lighting system is free of damage and clean and
operates properly.
That the hydraulic system does not show any obvious
defects.
That the brake system functions properly!
Always ensure that the steering and braking capacity of the
tractor are sufficient!
Accessory equipment as well as loads attached to the front or the
rear of the tractor will affect the driving characteristics as well as
the steering and braking capacity of the tractor.
Use counterweights as necessary!
The front axle of the tractor must be subjected to at least
20% of the tractor's unladen weight in order to ensure that
the steerability of the tractor remains sufficient.
Always attach counterweights properly to the designated
attachment points!
Always check the brake action before starting to drive! The
tractor must generate the prescribed brake retardation for the
combination of tractor and mounted accessory equipment!
When negotiating curves with the accessory equipment fitted,
take the radius and the centrifugal mass of the accessory
equipment into account! Avoid abrupt steering maneuvers, in
particularly when driving up and down hills or along a slope!
Before making any transport trips, shift the moving parts of the
accessory equipment to the transport position; when driving
empty, move the cutting bar to the bottommost position to cover
the supporting tines (10-15 cm below the fork tines).
Before making any transport trips, check whether the required
transport equipment, e.g. lighting, warning devices and
safeguards, is fitted correctly on the accessory equipment!
