7.2
Removing the accessory equipment
WARNING
Risks of personal injury from crushing, cutting, entrapment and
impact may arise if the dismounted accessory equipment is not
sufficiently stable!
Set the empty accessory equipment including its fully lowered
cutting bar down on a level, horizontal and solid subsurface.
When removing the accessory equipment, always make sure there
is enough clearance in front of the accessory equipment to allow the
tractor to line up with and drive up to the accessory equipment the
next time the equipment is mounted.
Always check the accessory equipment for obvious defects while
removing it. Observe chapter "Responsibilities of the operator",
page 14.
1. Drive the tractor with the accessory equipment to the designated
deposit area.
2. Move the side shift (option) to the center position.
3. Move the lifting frame (option) to the bottommost position.
4. Lower the cutting bar to its bottommost position.
5. Lower the accessory equipment until it rests horizontally on the
ground.
6. Switch off the tractor and secure it against inadvertent start-up
and rolling away.
7. Remove the lighting beam if it is fitted.
8. Uncouple the hydraulic hose lines, see chapter "Uncoupling the
hydraulic hose lines" starting on page 59.
9. Remove the control panel:
9.1 Disconnect the control panel power supply.
9.2 Take the control panel out of the holder (tractor) and store it
in a dry, clean location or slide it into the designated holder
on the accessory equipment.
10. Loosen the fasteners (e.g. plug-in bolts with spring cotter pins) on
the accessory equipment and disconnect the accessory
equipment from the tractor. Next, reattach the fasteners on the
accessory equipment.
10. Make sure that no one is inside the work area before starting the
tractor and pulling forward.
