LUBRICATION

This tiller is shipped from the factory WITHOUT oil in the gearboxes and without grease in

the grease fittings.

THE UNIT MUST BE SERVICED BEFORE PUTTING INTO

OPERATION.

NOTE:

Use GL5-85W 140 or Triple Zero Grease which can be poured and has an “EP” Extreme Pressure

Additive. Use TYPE/GRADE ll grease in all Grease Fittings.

TOP GEARBOX

1. Remove the vent plug with dip stick on the top of the gearbox.

2. Pour the gear oil into the vent plug hole slowly checking the oil level with the dip stick until the oil reaches

the full mark on the dip stick.

DO NOT OVERFILL THE GEARBOX!

3. Replace the vent plug and dip stick. Clean up any excess gear oil.
