Positioning examples for Busch-Presence detector Corridor KNX and Busch-Presence
detector Corridor Premium KNX
The presence detectors must be installed and aligned in the direction of the hallway using the
arrows printed on the inside of the device. If this does not happen and the detectors are rotated
by 90 degress, the correct function of the detector is not guaranteed.
Centralised approaches are fundamentally more difficult to detect than movements crosswise to
the detector. For this reason, we recommend that, depending on the situation, the detector or
detectors be positioned somewhat closer to the direction from which the centralised approach
starts.

– This arrangement can lead to detection gaps in the end areas!
