Setting and operation
Type 8746 Profibus, 8746 Analogue

Energise the product. Refer to chpt. 8 Electrical installation
→
Insert the micro-USB connector into the büS-interface for the
Bürkert Communicator software. The location of the büS-in
-
terface on the product is given in chpt.

Wait until the Windows pilot of the büS stick has been com
-
pletely installed on the PC.
→
Start the Bürkert Communicator software.
→
Click on
in the Bürkert Communicator software to esta

blish the communication between the Bürkert Communicator
software and the product. A window opens.

Choose the port

finish
and
wait until the product symbol appears in the list of devices.

In the list of devices, click on the symbol related to the
product. The menu structure for the product is displayed.
10.5 User-defined adjustment
At delivery the product is calibrated by the manufacturer.
With the Bürkert Communicator software, you can define an
adjustment procedure with up to 32 calibration points.

10.6 operating modes of an Mfc
When energising the product for the first time, the product enters a
short initialisation phase and then switches to the normal operating
mode. The normal operating mode is described in chpt. 10.7
