In the picture above, the CAD tools and modify toolbars are on the left.  The Property 
Editor widget is on the left just to the right of the modify toolbar.

Widgets are selected by right clicking the menu bar at the 
top of the screen.  The picture shows the recommended 
selections.

Toolbars are similarly selected and the recommended 
toolbars are shown to the right. 

Menu - Edit – Drawing preferences – Drawing unit  should

be set to Inch.  AvCAM 18 and 19 can convert metric to inches on drawing load, but all 
AvCAM operations are imperial inches.

Drawing Preferences apply to the current drawing only
Menu – Edit - Application preferences opens the Application preferences dialog. 
Application preferences apply to new drawings.  Recommended settings are shown
