Installing the Server
This server can be installed in either an NEC rack or a third vendor's rack. Take the
following steps to install the server in the rack.
Preparing before Installation
The left and right slide rails are fixed with tapes at the front and side faces to prevent
from falling off during transportation. Peel off the tape before you install the server in
the rack.

Removing the Rail Assemblies
1. Remove the sliding rails from the server.

2. Push the unlock button on the front of the server, hold the rails and slowly
move them toward the rear of the server.
