2.7 Powering on the Server for the First Time
1. Press the power switch on the Control panel to power on the server. The server will then
run the Power-On-Self-Test (POST) sequence and pass control to the boot manager. After
a few minutes, the boot option menu appears on the screen, as shown below:

2. Choose the required option:
­ Launch the preloaded operating system, if available
­ Set BIOS options via the "Boot option maintenance menu"
­ Enter the EFI shell to execute EFI utilities
