POWER
switch turns the amp on and off .
(2)
STANDBY
switch mutes the amp’s output and
preserves your tubes.
(3)
VARIPOWER
knob adjusts the maximum output power
capacity, enabling compression and sustain commonly
associated with power tube saturation to be achieved
at lower volumes.
(4)
REVERB
knob adjusts the amount of reverb eff ect.
Engage the eff ect with the adjacent REVERB button.
(5)
MASTER
knob adjusts the amp’s overall
volume output.
(6)
BOOST
knob adjusts the amount of optional volume
boost. The BOOST can be engaged with the adjacent
button or via the FSB106A footswitch.
(7)
TREBLE, MID and BASS
knobs adjust the high,
middle and low frequencies of the channel.
(8)
PRESENCE
knob adjusts the high end clarity and
sharpness of the channel’s tone.
(9)
VOLUME
knob adjusts the channel volume.
(10)
GAIN
knob adjusts the amount of distortion on
the channel.
(11)
CH 2 and 3 MODE
switches select between CLASSIC,
VINTAGE and MODERN tone styles. Set the switch
to CLASSIC for blues and classic rock crunch tones.
VINTAGE off ers more gain and saturation for hard rock
rhythm and lead work. MODERN pushes the gain into
extreme heavy metal territory.

CHANNEL
buttons select which of the 3 channels
is active.

CH 1 MODE
switch selects between the CLEAN setting
for pristine clean sounds, or DRIVE setting for a highly
dynamic crunch tone.

LINE OUT
knob adjusts the level of the OUTPUT jack for
use with a slave amp.
(15)
IMPEDANCE
switch selects between 4, 8 and 16 Ohms.

knob allows the following options:

– The FX LOOP is always active

– The FX LOOP, REVERB, and BOOST
on/off status are stored for each channel and
recalled each time the channel is selected

SWITCHING jack

– The FX LOOP is deactivated

SEND
knob adjusts the output level of the FX LOOP
SEND jack. It should be set as high as possible without
causing the eff ects processor to clip.

LEVEL
knob adjusts the level of the signal coming in
through the RETURN jack. Set the output from the
eff ects processor as high as possible and adjust the
LEVEL knob to balance the active FX LOOP signal with
the bypassed signal.

EXTERNAL SWITCHING
jacks are unbalanced
non-latching jacks that allow channel switching,
BOOST, REVERB and FX LOOP selection to be
controlled by an external switching system.

FOOTSW(ITCH)
input allows connection of the
included FSB106A footswitch.

RECTIFIER
switch selects between the bold,
powerful sound of silicon diode rectifi ers, the warm,
spongy feel of rectifi er tubes, or a combination of both.

FSB106A
footswitches select the channel and on/off
status of the BOOST, REVERB and FX LOOP. Each switch
has an LED that lights when active. The switches also
set certain MIDI parameters. See Step 3 for details.

MIDI IN
and
MIDI THRU
jacks allow the FSB106A
functions to be switched by an external MIDI controller.
