Open Remote Desktop
to open Windows Storage Server.
IP Address
Select the “Use DHCP” checkbox to assign an IP address from the DHCP server
automatically. If there is no DHCP server on the network, you cannot use this
function. Select the “Renew IP address” checkbox to obtain an IP address from the
DHCP server. You can manually enter a static IP address, subnet mask, and default
gateway.

Double-click the NAS Navigator2 icon ( ) to start NAS Navigator2.

Right-click your TeraStation’s icon and select

IP Address
.

Clear the “Use DHCP” checkbox and enter the desired settings, then click
OK
. If the username and password
prompt appears, enter the admin username and password.

NAS Navigator2 is a utility program that makes it easy to display Windows Storage Server, change the TeraStation’s
IP address, or check its drive in remote desktop. To install NAS Navigator2, download the installer from
http://d.buffalo.jp/WSH5010N6/.
Click the NAS Navigator2 icon ( ) in the Dock to start NAS Navigator2.
