Horizontal Pipe Installation
If there is no vertical pipe section with the correct length, a horizontal installa-
tion on the side is recommended.
Note that the straight section must be 50% longer than the vertical example (Ic
constant).
Calculation example of a horizontal pipe:
D = 200 mm
Cs = 3.5%, chemical pulp
V = 2.4 m/s
The nomogram shows a relative length (L/D)
7.5. The Mp constant is 1
and the Ic constant is 1,5.
