Cleaning and Maintaining the Printer 

 

Revision C 

30K USERS MANUAL

 

Section 8 -   

Slide Floor beneath Sliding 
Fences. 

 

Walk belt off Feed Pulleys  

Release Extension Spring. 

 

6.

 

Using a regular screwdriver, release the four 

1/4 Turn

 

Studs

 on the 

Floor.

 Turn each stud counterclockwise a 

quarter turn.

 Note

: The four 1/4 Turn Studs are 

permanently attached and cannot be removed. 

7.

 

Lift the 

Floor

. Unhook the front of the floor and slide 

it beneath the Sliding Fences. 

8.

 

Reference figure to right. Located inside is the Feed 
Roller Assembly. From the side of the assembly, 
release the Extension Spring from the Belt Tensioner 
Lever. 

9.

 

Remove the 3 mm Belt from around the two Feed 
Pulleys. 

Note

: The Feeder Assembly with two Idler 

Pulleys located in the center uses the Old Style belt. 

10.

 

Pull the Upper or Lower Feed Roller Shaft Assembly 
from the printer. A bearing will come out with the 
feeder shaft assemblies. Remove these parts from the 
printer.  

Pull the Tires off the hubs. 
(Old Style Belt) 

11.

 

The Tires may now be removed by pulling them from 
the hubs. 

Pull the Tires off the hubs. 

12.

 

Replace in reverse order.
