Explanation
The signal is then turned off (0 volts) a second later.
Note
: The signal is turned on (5 volts) when a
“Early Feed Error” occurs while the Stop On Feed
Err (Error) option is enabled.
If the Pulse Off Signal option is selected, the
external feeder signal will be asserted when the
leading edge of the envelope for the last address to
be printed is detected at the print heads or when an
early feed error is detected (if the Stop On Feed Err
option has been selected). In either case, the signal
will be cleared 1 second later.

This item turns a 5 volt signal on whenever one or
more records are in the buffer to be printed.
The signal is turned off (0 volts) once the sensor
detects the piece to print the last record in the buffer
on.
Note
: The signal will also be turned off (0 volts)
when a “Early Feed Error” occurs while the Stop On
Feed Err (Error) option is enabled.

This item reverses the signal used to trigger the
feeder. The Signal Polarity only affects the ON/OFF
Control and ON/Quick OFF menu items.
Active ON
activates an external feeder by
switching on the feeder signal.
Active OFF activates an external feeder by
switching the feeder signal off.

3. LINES PER ADDRESS
Set the number of lines of text the record will consist of when printing onto the media.

Set the number of lines to match the number of lines
in a record that will be sent to the printer.
4. LINE TERMINATION
This item allows the printer to interpret what the Line Termination (end of a line of text) is for
different operating systems or software. Choose from the various Line Termination formats to
get the correct line count and then the record will print correctly.
