LV power connector
INSTRUCTION
The LV power connector is a
push-pull connector
. In order to separate the connector, the latter is to
be pushed in the plugging direction (unlocked) and then be pulled out in the pulling direction.
The LV power connector has been designed for a maximum number of 1000 cycles of connector
operation. The manufacturer guarantees the full functioning (conductance, tightness) up to this
quantity.
In order to guarantee this number of cycles of connector operation, a lubricating film is to be applied
to the positive pole connector housing. The following lubricants are suitable for this purpose
according to the connector manufacturer Multicontact.

INFORMATION
The LV power connector included in the scope of delivery is to be assembled with a cable in
accordance with the following specifications. On request, this process may also be carried out by
BRUSA.
For proper assembly, the following tools are recommended:
Crimping tool Elpress M-PZ-T2600: 18.3710
Crimping insert TB11-14,5 (KRF): 18.3713

In order to guarantee a reliable operation of all controllers - in particular of the HV voltage controller in the boost
mode - the following instructions are to be strictly adhered to:
Max. cable length between the device and the 12 V LV battery = 2 m.
Required cable diameter = 50 mm

(unscreened single core cable).
Select the cladding diameter in accordance with the connector housing.
