Use only ALKALINE batteries
Performing this operation when the bat-
tery low warning is flashing will cause all
indications on the display to disappear but
not be lost.

Insert three new
alkaline
LR03 penlight
AAA 1.5V batteries of the same type. Make
sure the poles face the way that is shown on
the bottom of the housing (fig. 65).
Warning! Inserting the batteries the wrong
way round could damage the unit. There will
be approximately 2 minutes available for
replacing the batteries.
To restart the unit, proceed as described in
chapter 4.
Close the unit. Make sure that the hooks
have been inserted in their proper places
(fig. 66). After a few seconds the information
on the display will reappear.
If the indications on the display do not
appear within 10 seconds, press the
reset button R (fig. 61)
ATTENTION. Inserting the batteries the
wrong way round could damage the unit.
The use of weak batteries may cause operat-
ing malfunctions.
In this should happen then proceed as set
forth in chapter 18.
