18 - RESET
Operating anomalies, repairs and other
technical reasons may make it necessary to
reset the unit.
-
Open the cover.
-
Press button
R
(fig. 61).
-
Close the cover.
This operation does NOT delete any custom-
ised programmes, which will be restored,
along with other data, as soon as the unit is
restarted (see table 2 on page 48).
NOTE. After a RESET it will be necessary
to readjust the clock as per chapter 3.
To reset all default settings, proceed as
follows:
- simultaneously press buttons
, and
;
- reset the unit.
The TA450 will restart in HEATING mode (or
COOLING, if reset in this mode) and at the
COMFORT control level temperature.
19 - BATTERY REPLACEMENT
When the
indicator flashes on the dis-
play, it means that there is around 1 month
left to replace the batteries (fig. 62).
When the
indication plus the
symbol appear on the display, the unit is
no longer operative and has set the heating
and air-conditioning system to OFF (fig. 63).
ATTENTION. Failure to replace the batteries
in time may cause damage to the heating
system (frost protection is not ensured).
To replace the cover proceed as follows:

Press button

on the base (fig. 64) and
open the unit.
All symbols on the display will disappear.
