Simple Recording (SONG SKETCH)

Press the [REC] button.
Recording will begin.
The [PLAY] button will light green, and the [REC]
button will light red.

When you’re finished recording, press the [STOP]
button.
The recorded data is saved in the SKETCH folder (p.
118).
The recorded data can be imported into a track.

Here’s how to play back a WAV file that was saved in the
SKETCH folder.

Press the [SONG SKETCH] button.
The SONG SKETCH screen will appear.

Use the CURSOR [
] [
] buttons to move the
cursor to the file name, and use the dial to select the
file that you want to play back.

Press the [PLAY] button.
Playback will begin.

To stop playback, press the [STOP] button.
Here’s how to erase a WAV file.

Press the [SONG SKETCH] button.
The SONG SKETCH screen will appear.

cursor to the file name, and use the dial to select the
file that you want to erase.

Press the [MENU] button.

Use the CURSOR [

] buttons to move the
cursor to “FILE,” and press [ENTER].

] buttons to move the
cursor to “ERASE,” and press [ENTER].
The FILE ERASE screen will appear.

If you want to erase the file, press the [ENTER]
button.
The screen will ask “Are you sure?”

Press the [ENTER] button
The file will be erased.
* The display will indicate “Keep power on!” while the data is
being updated. Do not turn off the power while this message
is shown.

About file names
When a WAV file is saved, a file name will be
automatically assigned as follows.
(Ex.)
_BR_001.WAV
:
_BR_999.WAV
The file name will consist of _BR_ followed by a
sequential number and a file extension of .WAV.
