Using Insert Effects
This is an effect for four-channel microphone recording.
It provides the effects needed for recording with multiple
microphones.

Low Cut
Compressor/Limiter
Equalizer
Noise Suppressor
This provides an independent compressor/limiter for each
track.
It allows you to make the playback volume of each track
more consistent.

Compressor/Limiter
This is an effect that produces a long sustain by evening out
the volume level of the input signal. You can switch it to a
limiter to suppress only the sound peaks and prevent
distortion.

effect provides a fat tone with a boost-
ed midrange.

When applied heavily, this compressor
effect produces a sweet tone with the
high end cut.
LIMITER
BOSS LIM
This selects a stereo limiter.
RACK 160 D
This models a dbx 160X.
VTG RACK U This models a UREI 1178.
SUSTAIN *1
0–100
Adjusts the range (time) over which
low-level signals are boosted. Larger
values will result in longer sustain.
