Handling of hydraulic hose lines
This chapter refers to the correct handling of hydraulic hose lines, especially when setting
up training circuits.
Table 29:
Technical data of the hydraulic hose lines for the training set-up
Hose type (according to DIN EN 857)
2SC
Hose fitting type on both sides
DKO 10L
Nominal hose diameter (inside)
8 mm
minimum bending radius
85 mm
The following figures and notices are extracts from DIN 20066.
•
Any twisting of the hose is to be avoided (see fig. 49).
Wrong
Fig. 49:
Laying hydraulic hose lines part 1
Correct
•
Hydraulic hose lines should be installed so that there is no tensile load in any operating
condition, except by own weight; the same is true for compressions with short lengths
(see fig. 50).
Wrong
Fig. 50:
Laying hydraulic hose lines part 2
Correct
•
If possible, hose lines should be installed according to their natural position whereas
the smallest bending radii admissible must always be complied with (see fig. 51).
Wrong
a – bending radii too small
