Actions for the pressure relief by disconnecting the coupling socket/connector
Check the following points before disconnecting the coupling connector/socket:
•
Connect the tank port (marking T) of the component (e.g. directional valve) with the
tank port at the P/T distributor of the work station and operate the component, e.g.
switch the directional valve.
•
Connect a hydraulic hose line (e.g. R961002474) at the tank port of the P/T distributor.
Then connect the other side of the hydraulic hose line with the connection which
cannot be coupled.
If the preceding steps have not been successful and the coupling connector or the
coupling socket is still blocked, you have to disconnect that part from the component.
For loosening the coupling connector which is installed in a plate, we recommend fixing
the component by means of clamping equipment (see fig. 54 -2) in advance.
For loosening a coupling socket, we recommend using two hexagon sockets with
a wrench size of 19 mm. In this connection, one of the two hexagon wrenches is used as
counter bearing.
Loosen the blocked coupling connector/socket by means of the hexagon wrench.
Screw out the coupling connector/socket by 2 more rotations.
Check whether the coupling connector is now unloaded. To do so, connect a hydraulic
hose line (e.g. R961002474) to the coupling connector.
Leave the hydraulic hose line coupled and tighten the coupling connector manually.
The excessive hydraulic fluid can flow into the hydraulic hose line.
Uncouple the hydraulic hose line and tighten the coupling connector applying the
specified tightening torque (fig. 57).
For coupling sockets: After loosening, couple the coupling socket to be unloaded to one
of the two tank connections of the P/T distributor.
Leave the coupling socket coupled and tighten it manually. The excessive hydraulic fluid
can flow into the tank connection of the P/T distributor.
Uncouple the coupling socket and tighten the coupling socket applying the specified
tightening torque (fig. 57).
When loosening the coupling connector/socket, a small quantity of hydraulic fluid may leak.
Keep corresponding cleaning cloths ready. Dispose of used cleaning cloths according to the
country-specific regulations. Also observe the safety instructions in chap. 15.1.
