8 Commissioning
8.1 Setting the WS200 work station up
Proper execution of the set-up requires that:
•
the delivery, the transport and the unpacking according to chapter 6 " Transport and
storage" have been properly completed,
•
all parts required are within reach and functional,
•
required aids (e.g. oil funnel for filling the tank) are available.
Consider the following aspects before the final set-up:

Make sure that the clearance area required for the work station and the safety
clearances to fixed installations are available (requirements see fig. 1).

The place of installation is suitable with regard to load-bearing capacity of the
installation space. In order to evaluate the load-bearing capacity, you should assume
a weight of at least 200 kg. The weight refers to a WS200 work station, completely
equipped (2x grid, grooved plate, 2x hydraulic power unit) including training set-ups at
both grids.

For a firm stand of the work station, the place of installation should be sufficiently level.

Make sure that an electrical connection is available.
For the operation, earthed industrial mains are required (TN-S mains type) 1 x AC 230 V
(±10 %), 50-60 Hz.

Make sure that there is sufficient lighting at the set-up location. For the teaching, an
illumination of at least 500 lux (based on DIN EN 12464-1, illumination at workplaces)
is recommended:
Observe the following aspects after the set-up:

As protection, lock the locking devices of the transport rollers.
Water protection with hydraulic system:
The oil pan of the base frame of the WS200 work station has a capacity of 17 liters. Thus,
the contents of two hydraulic power units of type ANTRIEBSAGGREGAT TS-WS200
220V/50HZ 1X can be collected. Dispose of any supplies and auxiliary materials spilled and
used as prescribed pursuant to the country-specific legal provisions. Also observe the
information in chap. 15.1.
NOTICE
Danger due to irregularities, variations, faults, defects during the set-up or the test!
Risk of damage!

Do not put the work station into operation and/or take it out of operation without
undue delay.

Determine the cause and remedy the defect.

Replace the defective component.
