– A list of options for confi

guring your on-board computer: You can choose
to display the speed and distance in kilometres or
miles and the time in 12-hour or 24-hour format,
set the time, date and time zone, and choose your
preferred language. You can also reset KIOX to
the factory settings, start a software update (if
one is available) and choose from a black or whi
-
te design.

Quick menu
The quick menu displays selected settings that
can also be configured while riding.
You can access the quick menu by pressing the
select key
(9)
. The quick menu cannot be acces
-
sed from the status screen.
The following settings can be configured in the
quick menu:

<Reset [DD. month. YY] (Reset journey data
Last reset: [DD. month. YYYY SS:MM])>
All journey data up to the time this function is
used is reset to zero.

<eShift>
Here, you can configure settings such as the
pedal frequency and the starting gear. The
starting gear can be configured in the settings
menu under <My e-bike> → <eShift>.
Switch on-board computer on/off
To
switch on
the on-board computer, briefly
press the on/off button

.
To
switch off
the on-board computer, press the
on/off button
(4)
for more than one second.
Battery charge status indicator
The battery charge status indicator of the e-bike
battery d is displayed on the status screen and in
the status bar. You can also determine the charge
status of the e-bike battery from the LEDs on the
battery itself.
Colour of
indicator d
Meaning
white
The E-Bike battery is more than
20% charged.
yellow
The E-Bike battery is more than
5% charged.
red
The capacity for drive support
is depleted and the support
will be deactivated. The re
-
maining capacity will be used
for the bicycle lighting and the
on-board computer. The remai
-
ning E-Bike battery capacity will
power the bicycle lighting for
approximately two more hours.
Other power consumers (e.g.
the eShift speed gear, charging
of external devices via the USB
port) are not taken into conside
-
ration here and may reduce the
remaining duration. If the E-Bike
battery is being charged on the
wheel, a corresponding messa
-
ge is displayed. If the on-board
computer is removed from the
holder (5) , the last displayed
battery charge status is saved.
Adjusting the support level
You can use the operating console
(7)
to confi
-
gure the level of support provided by the e-bike
drive when you are pedalling. The support level
can be adjusted at any time, including during your
journey.
Certain versions have a preset support
level that cannot be changed. Certain
models may also have fewer support le
-
vels to choose from than are shown
here. If the e-bike was configured with
eMTB mode
ex works, the
SPORT
sup
-
port level is replaced by
eMTB
. In
eMTB
mode, the support factor and the torque
are adjusted dynamically depending on
the pedal force applied to the pedals.
eMTB mode
is only available with Per
-
formance Line CX drives.
