Replacing the motor and/or gear, motor mounting (MA) = M
Please note:
• The end faces of the motor and gear must be undamaged.
• The gear hub comes lubricated with anti-seize lubricant.
• Do
not
tilt the motor and make sure that there is enough clearance area for the
motor assembly.
• Install the motor in the proper position (terminal box) and connect it to the gear.
If the motor is not in the proper position: Do
NOT
rotate the motor. Disconnect the
motor from the gear and reconnect it.
Disassembling the drive
train: see Changing the
conveyor chain, page 64,
item 1 to item 7.
If only the motor is to
be changed, the drive
train does not have to
be removed.
Then start with item 4.
1.
Loosen the hexagon
screws on the fl ange.
2.
Disconnect the
motor-gear combination
from the drive train.
3.
Loosen the hexagon
screws on the
gear fl ange.
4.
Disconnect the defective
gear from the motor.
5.
Remove the yellow
protective cap (X) from
the motor shaft of the
new motor.
Grease the motor shaft.
6.
Install the motor.
7.
Install the drive train.
