You can see the length
of the chain at the
level of the tensioning
lever (X) of the chain
tensioner. The tensioning
lever (X) moves from
the top (new/shortened
chain) downwards
(elongated chain) as the
chain length increases.
When the tensioning
lever (X) is in the lowest
position, the chain must be
shortened.
Alternatively, mount a sensor
to indicate the lowest
position of the clamping
lever (X).
