SERVICE DOORS (Cont)

AFT EQUIPMENT BAY DOOR

The aft equipment bay door is located on the centerline of the aircraft at the rear of the fuselage. The door is hinged in front
and opens downward. The door has a lever-type latch mechanism. A support strut on the door can be connected to the fair-
ing bracket to stabilize the door in the open position. The strut must be disconnected from the fairing bracket to close the
door.

AFT EQUIPMENT BAY DOOR ANNUNCIATION

An AFT EQPT BAY DOOR (C) CAS message is displayed if the aft equipment bay door is not closed.
