BOGE Operating instructions for C 16 N...C 30 N, C 16 F N...C 30 F N series screw compressors
Connection condensate
drain
A minimum 29 psig pressure is required for operational safety.
Connecting the
compressor to the
compressed air network
–
Connect the compressor to the compressed air network or a compressed
air receiver.
For this, use a BOGE high pressure hose.
Remove cladding
–
Lift off top cover (1).
–
Loosen cabinet bolts (2) above lateral sheets and backwall and remove
cladding.
WARNING!
The water/oil mixture must not be discharged into the waste water system.
Oil and water must be separated by appropriate separating devices (addi-
tional equipment).
WARNING!
The condensate discharge is to be designed such as to prevent persons or
objects from being hit by the condensate (condensate discharge with oper-
ating pressure)!
1 from condensate drain
2 to treatment (oil/water separator)
The condensate discharge pipe (3)
must be installed not extend more than
190 inches upward on the wall.
The min. operating pressure will in-
crease by 1.5 psig per meter. Manifold
(4) is to be designed as to have at least
the condensate discharge diameter.
NOTICE!
Do not install a check valve in the pressure line.
The compressor is already equipped with a check valve.
WARNING: Risk of injury!
Make sure to always wear protective gloves to protect yourself against any
sharp edges and corners on covering components!
