Locking the engine at TDC

•

Remove front cover.

•

Turn the belt pulley to bring the piston to firing
TDC.

Firing TDC

1. TDC mark is visible, and
2. The inlet and exhaust valves of the cylinder in

question are closed.

•

Install locking device,

lock clutch housing.

Note:

The engine can be locked at TDC by inserting locat-
ing pin,
