User Manual
In the section entitled
“Output Mode”
under the blue header, the user can select the mode of output for the unit.
This is the first necessary step when configuring the unit for the first time. The type of the input streams that can be
used, i.e Single Program Transport Stream (SPTS) or Multi Program Transport Stream (MPTS) depends on the Output
Mode selected. The drop down box allows the user to select one of the two Output Modes available:
SPTS Mode: Single Program Transport Stream (SPTS)
Allows the unit to accept up to 64 SPTS in unencrypted (clear) IP format. Therefore, the unit can accept up to 64
programs in UDP or RTP format.
MPTS Mode: Multi Program Transport Stream (MPTS)
Allows the unit to accept up to 16 MPTS in unencrypted (clear) IP format, each MPTS with maximum six (6) programs and
not to exceed 38.8 Mbps.
Remember to click on the SAVE button to apply the new values/configurations.
