Make a BlackBerry MDS Connection Service available to a BlackBerry MDS Integration
Service
You can make a BlackBerry® MDS Connection Service available to any BlackBerry MDS Integration Service in the same BlackBerry
Domain.
Before you begin:
The BlackBerry MDS Connection Service that you specify must have a fully qualified domain name or IP
address. The BlackBerry MDS Connection Service cannot use localhost or 127.0.0.1.
1.
In the BlackBerry Manager, in the left pane, click a BlackBerry MDS Integration Service.
2.
On the
MDS Integration Services
tab, click
Edit Properties
.
3.
In the left pane, click
Connection Service
.
4.
Double-click
BlackBerry MDS Connection Service Definition
.
5.
Click
New
.
6.
Double-click
URL
.
7.
Type the full web address or domain name and the port number of the BlackBerry MDS Connection Service.
8.
Click
OK
.
Make a BlackBerry MDS Connection Service unavailable to a BlackBerry MDS Integration
Service
If you want to prevent a BlackBerry® MDS Integration Service from accessing a BlackBerry MDS Connection Service, you can
remove the BlackBerry MDS Connection Service from the list available to the BlackBerry MDS Integration Service.
1.
In the BlackBerry Manager, in the left pane, click a BlackBerry MDS Integration Service.
2.
On the
MDS Integration Services
tab, click
Edit Properties
.
3.
In the left pane, click
Connection Service
.
4.
Double-click
BlackBerry MDS Connection Service Definition
.
5.
Click the web address for a BlackBerry MDS Connection Service.
6.
Click
Remove
.
7.
Click
OK
.
