Configure the BlackBerry Manager to use database authentication in a
Microsoft SQL Server environment
During the installation process, if you choose to connect to the BlackBerry® Configuration Database using Windows®
authentication, the BlackBerry Manager uses Windows authentication automatically. If you create database accounts for your
administrators, you must change the type of authentication that the BlackBerry Manager uses.

In the BlackBerry Manager, on the
Tools
menu, click
Options
.
2.
Click
Database
.
3.
In the
Authentication
drop-down list, click
Database Authentication
.
4.
Click
OK
.
5.
Restart the BlackBerry Manager.
