lUbRICATION
The snow mover is lubricated during
assembly at the manufacturing facility.
Lubricating the moving parts of the snow
mover is unnecessary and may cause
damage to the unit.
STORAGE
1. Remove the battery and safety key
from the snow mover.
2. Wipe off excess moisture on the snow
mover before storing or transporting.
Ensure the unit is fully secured when
transporting.
3. Inspect the snow mover carefully for
worn, loose, or damaged parts. Check
bolts and screws and tighten if needed.
4. Store the unit in a locked, dry place
out of the reach of children to prevent
unauthorized use.

Seal
The RBRC® (Rechargeable
Battery Recycling Corp oration)
Seal on the nickel cadmium,
nickel metal hydride or lithium-
ionbatteries (or battery packs) indicates
that the costs to recycle these batteries
(or battery packs) at the end of their
useful life have already been paid by
BLACK+DECKER. In some areas, it is
illegal to place spent nickel cadmium,
nickel metal hydride or lithium-ion
batteries in the trash or municipal solid
waste stream and the Call 2 Recycle®
program provides an environmentally
conscious alternative.
Call 2 Recycle, Inc., in cooperation with
BLACK+DECKER and other battery
users, has established the program in the
United States and Canada to facilitate the
collection of spent nickel cadmium, nickel
• Do not position the chute deflector /
guard too far downward as this can
cause a gap (28) to appear between
the deflector and discharge chute as
shown in
figure 17
.

Heavy wet snow may accumulate on the
inside of the discharge chute or in the
auger housing. If discharge performance
drops or auger jams:
• Release the bail handle (2), remove the
safety key (3) and remove the battery.
• Inspect the discharge chute and auger
housing for clogs and jams.
• Use attached clean out stick (16) to
remove clogs and jams. Store clean out
stick on snow mover.
WARNING:

yOUR HANDS
. If a part freezes while the
snow mover is in use, stop the snow
mover, remove the battery and safety
key. Free all parts before restarting or
operating the snow mover.
