Electrical panel IO-module (M172)
The configuration and parameter setup of the M172 module are stored in a parameter file on the M172
module. This file can be up- or downloaded to or from a USB-Stick.
To upload a parameter file from the M172 to a USB-Stick:
1.
Prepare USB stick: Format the USB stick (FAT32).
2.
Insert the USB-Stick in the slot on the top of the M172 electrical panel IO-module. Access the
“Settings” menu on the M172 module. See section 10.15 how to operate the M172 HMI. Go to page
2 of “Settings” and select “USB”. Select “Save Param. to USB”. Confirm with “Yes” and wait
approximately 5 sec. to copy the data.
3.
Remove the USB-Stick and check in a PC that a file named “00PARAM.DAT” is on the USB-Stick.
Store this file in a suitable location for future use.
To download a parameter file from a USB-Stick to the M172:
1.
Obtain the correct parameter file (named “00PARAM.DAT”) for the electrical panel IO-module.
BITZER delivers a default configuration but the customer can upload the actual parameter file to a
USB-Stick. See instructions earlier in this section.
2.
Prepare USB stick: Format the USB stick (FAT32). Then transfer the parameter file to the USB stick.
Be sure that the USB-Stick only contains one parameter file, named “00PARAM.DAT”.
3.
Insert the USB-Stick in the slot on the top of the M172 electrical panel IO-module. Access the
“Settings” menu on the M172 module. See section 10.15 how to operate the M172 HMI. Go to page
2 of “Settings” and select “USB”. Select “Load Param. from USB”. Confirm with “Yes” and wait
approximately 5 sec. to copy the data.
4.
