INSTALLATION, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL
BiSolid Saver OM-BSSV00/08/2012/EN

The boiler must be steadily fixed over inflammable or heat-isolated foundation, which must
exceed the boiler contour with minimum of 300 mm in front and 100 mm in all other sides. For
easier handling and operation it is recommended that the foundation is inflammable and 100 –
150 mm high.
The boiler room must have ensured constant air flow for burning. Air consumption depends on
the boiler heating capacity, respectively 45-60 m
3
/h (200-300 cm
2
opening for air intake
corresponds to such flow).
Danger
When the boiler operates do not touch any hot water pipe lines or flue pipes.
If there are two boilers in the room it is not allowed to position any fuel between them. It is
recommended to keep minimum distance of 800mm between the boiler and the fuel, or to
store the fuel in a premise different from the boiler room.
Danger
Do not put flammable materials over boiler’s top side or near it within the safety
distance.
7.4. CONNECTING THE BOILER TO THE HEATING SYSTEM
The BiSolid Saver boiler is designated for systems with natural gravity or forced circulation. To
reduce condensation of flue gases and to prolong boiler’s life time it is recommended to use
devices which do not allow the water temperature to decrease less than 65
o
C (flue gases
point of condensation). For that purpose for example can be used a three-way, four-way
valves (DUOMIX) or thermostatic valve TSV.
Clean water has to be used as heat-carrier and it must comply with the standards. Its
hardness must not exceed the required values (Table 6).

As a passive boiler defense can be used liquids with low freezing point and anti-corrosion
action, for example FRITERM. In the cases when a two-way safety valve is connected to the
system, applying anti-freezing liquid is not recommended.
