Calcium scale in electrodes may cause….
The reason for the calcium scale on the alkaline side of the water ionizer is because the high
pH of the water causes the minerals in the water to precipitate out of the water and become
displaced.
Calcium scale on the electrodes causes the pH data of Ionized water decrease because the
source water is not coming in contact with the electrodes. once your water ionizer is cleaned
using this metod, the pH of the ionized water will be resume higher because the water is now
coming in direct contact with the cleaned electrodes
Symptom of calcium scale
when whitish floating substances are found in the alkalized water
when the water output declines significantly
when the pH of alkalized water drops significantly
