3. Secure Rear Grill (I) to Motor Housing
Assembly (G) with Rear Grill Nut (H). (Figure 7)
4. Remove the protective sleeve from the Motor
Shaft (J).
5. Slide Fan Blade (L) over Motor Shaft (J) and
tighten Blade Screw (M). (Figure 8)
6. Snap Front Grill (O) into Grill Ring (P) with
Bionaire logo in horizontal position, and
secure with Screw (Q). (Figure 9)
NOTE:
You may have to loosen the Grill
Ring Screw (Q) to snap the Front Grill (O)
into place.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Make sure the Speed Control (R) is in the Off (0)
position. Plug the cord into a suitable outlet.

ADJUSTMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Tilt Adjustment
Loosen Tilt-Adjustment Knob (N), move fan head
to desired angle, and tighten Tilt Adjustment
Knob (N) to lock in place.
Height Adjustment
Loosen Height Adjustment Knob (D), adjust
Upper Pole (E) to desired height, and tighten
Height Adjustment Knob (D) to lock in place.
Oscillation Adjustment
To start oscillation, press (S) knob, to stop, pull (S)
knob.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
Always unplug the fan before cleaning.
•
Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan
motor housing.
FITTING A REPLACEMENT PLUG
FOR U.K. AND IRELAND ONLY
If the plug is not suitable for the socket outlets in
your home, it can be removed and replaced by a
plug of the correct type. Please refer to
"Installation of a plug" below.

The wire which is coloured GREEN AND YELLOW
must be connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter 'E' or by the earth symbol or
coloured GREEN AND YELLOW.
The BROWN coloured wire must be connected
to the terminal, which is marked with the letter
"L" or is coloured RED.
The BLUE coloured wire must be connected to
the terminal, which is marked with the letter "N"
or is coloured BLACK.
NOTE:
If the terminals in the plug are not marked
or if you are unsure or in doubt about the installation
of the plug please contact a qualified electrician.
If a 13A 3-pin plug is fitted, it must be an ASTA
approved plug, conforming to BS1363 standard.
Replacement 3A fuses must be BSI or ASTA
BS1362 approved.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
(see Figures 1 - 9)
Assembly Time: 10-15 Minutes.
Tools Required: Cross Head Screw Driver and
Adjustable Wrench.
Base and pole
1. Unscrew Base Nut (C) from Lower Pole (A).
2. Position the Lower Pole (A) and Rubber Ring
(F) over the opening of the base and secure
with the Base Nut (C). (Figure 2)
3. Loosen Height Adjustment knob (D) to extend
Upper Pole (E). (Figure 3)
4. Secure Motor Housing Assembly (G) to the
top of Pole (E) and secure with 2 screws.

Head and guard
1. Remove Rear Grill Nut (H) from Motor
Housing Assembly (G). (Figure 5)
2. Position Rear Grill (I) over Motor Housing
Assembly (G). Fit the 2 Prongs (K) in the
