5. Screw the drain screw with the sealing ring back in.
6. Fill the new oil (according to the lubrication chart) back in through the vent hole.
7. Screw the vent screw back in.
Check all sealings and screw unions for their tightness during each oil change and
replace them if necessary.
In case of rather extreme operating conditions (e.g. high humidity, strong temperature
fluctuations, aggressive surroundings and high ambient temperature) we recommend
shorter lubricating intervals.
16.1.3 Feed pipe
Damaged pipes lead to blockages and excessive friction that might lead to damages of
the carrier plates. Because of this, you have to make sure to check the feed pipe at
regular intervals for dents or other damages and replace damaged pipes.
16.1.4 Turns
The ball bearings in the turns are lubricated for life and therefore maintenance-free.
16.1.5 Conveyor chain
If carrier plates break or deform, replace the respective chain part. The carrier plates
might be damaged because of foreign matter in the feed pipe. In any case, you should
find out what the cause is and remove it.
16.1.6 Feed hopper with forced leading-in resp. feedback
The gearing is lubricated for life and does not need maintenance or lubrication.
The lubricant in the gearing housing should be examined and, if it is dirty, it should of
course be changed. Only use lubricants that are listed on the type plate. Different
lubricants must not be mixed.
