Maintenance
WARNING:
Be careful to support raised mechanisms that
may fall when hydraulic connections are undone. This is
particularly applicable to a partially raised platform, side and
rear clamps, forks, table lift, table retract and raised
pickups. If in doubt, contact your local Big Bale Transtacker
agent.

Before Commencing Any Repairs / Maintenance
Shut off engine, remove ignition key, and unplug electric box
before performing any maintenance or repair work.

Grease the complete pickup assembly

Remove any build up of crop
Check hoses for scuffing and leaks.
Check clamp side safety pins.
Grease table components. (7 points)
Grease tip pivots. (6 points)
Grease clamp pivots (14 points)
Wax oil extension bearings and slide
section
Oil fork rollers. (18)
Oil beam pulleys. (8)
Oil tensioner pulleys. (2 x 4 + 2)
Check for visible structural damage.
Check cylinder seals for leakage.
Check tyre pressures.
Check wheel nuts are tight.
Check for any leaks in hydraulic lines,
valves or cylinders.
Check plugs and sockets for corrosion.
(Keep clean)
Check junction box for loose
connections and corrosion.
Check cables and connectors for
damage.
Check sensors for damage.
Replace or clean the pressure line
filter element.
Grease cables and inspect for damage
or wear
Check ring hitch for excessive wear.
Check brakes for function and
adjustment.
Inspect tyres for damage and wear.
