Whenever VisiPC is communicating with a V3 system, (e.g. during configuration transfer) the

first three panes of the status bar change to one pane.  This leftmost pane then indicates the

status of the communications:

Colour

Description

Indication

Green

Comms: OK

Indicates that the last message has received a

valid response.

Yellow

Comms: Waiting for reply

Indicates that a request has been sent, but the

response has not yet arrived.

Red

Comms: Dead

Indicates that the response never arrived
