While holding thread with finger, pass it between
the tension discs and pull thread down to make
certain it is properly located in between the
tension discs

Turn the handwheel toward you until the lower
looper extends out 5–10 mm from the stitch
plate edge.

Thread the looper area of the machine following
the red color coded thread guides

Place the thread with the point of the tweezers
slightly from left and to the right of threading

Thread the looper eye

from front to back.

Pull about 10 cm (4 inches) of thread.

Position thread into V cutout

Firmly hold thread tail with left hand and pull
