HOW TO DISENGAGE UPPER
KNIFE
• To place upper knife in nonworking
position
–
Open looper cover (refer page 10).
–
Pull the upper knife holder
(1)
to the right as far
as it will go.
–
Turn the holder
(2)
toward counter clockwise
until the knife clicks into a lock position.
• To place upper knife in working position
–
Open looper cover.
–
Pull the upper knife holder
(1)
to the right as far
as it will go.
–
Turn the holder
(2)
clockwise until the knife
clicks into the working position.

CAUTION:
Be sure to turn off power switch.
CAUTION:
Always close looper cover before operating
machine.
