18. MANUFACTURER
19. SERVICE
The machine should be checked at specified regular intervals
by a competent person for a safe condition according to EN
12635. Checking reports should be stored in safe keeping to-
gether with the product documentation.
Important information for the competent
person/professional fitters entrusted
with checking, servicing or repair work!
The checking and servicing instructions for the garage door, the
garage door drive as well, possibly, for other components on the
machine should be observed.
If any deficits are discovered during checking the machine
should be taken out of action (totally shut down) and repaired
by a professional fitter. The machine may only be commissi-
oned again when a secure condition was established.
A written inspection report must be completed for checking
session. This should be kept with the inspection book.
During checking, servicing or repair work it is necessary for va-
lid European and national standards as well as work protection
and accident prevention regulations to be observed in their res-
pectively current version.
Submission for the product documentation including the ins-
pection book, inspection report, handover declaration and ma-
nufacturer declaration. This submission can be use by the spe-
cialist assembly company, while alternatively own submissions
can also be used. Status of this annex: November 2012.
Important information for the manufacturer/as-
sembly fitter for the machine!
The inspection book is a component part of the product docu-
mentation and should be handed over to the owner/operating
company at the time of commissioning in a carefully and fully
filled out condition. A component part of the full product docu-
mentation apart from the inspection book is the EC Conformi-
ty Declaration, the operating manual as well as the checking/
servicing instructions for the machine or its individual compo-
nents. We recommend having the first checking report produ-
ced at the time of commissioning by a competent person.
Important information for the owner/operating
company of the machine!
The inspection book is a component part of the product do-
cumentation and should be kept in safe keeping. Ensure that
every person commissioned to perform checking, servicing or
repair work can have access to it.
We recommend providing at least the checking/servicing inst-
ructions as well as the handling and/or operating instructions
for all components including all manufacturer declarations to-
gether with this inspection book.
