Installing the device

37

Fine adjustment

The procedure is identical for the air extraction

and the recirculated air device. The air
extraction device is shown.

¾

Open the lower front flap to access the lower
adjuster screws.

¾

Adjust the distance from the wall using the four
adjuster screws.

¾

To do this, readjust the mountings' horizontal and
lower adjuster screws.

¾

Make sure that the device is aligned vertically and
horizontally.

Securing the device

After adjusting, secure the device as follows:

¾

Tighten the lower screws.

¾

Re-tension the upper mountings.

Connecting the outgoing air line (air

extraction device only)

WARNING

Risk of falling during work carried out
in elevated positions.

¾

Use a stable stepladder.

CAUTION

Risk of injury due to falling parts.

¾

Make sure that nobody is standing
beneath the device during work.

ATTENTION

Damage due to falling parts.

¾

Protect surfaces and devices
(e.g.  cooled cooker top) beneath
your working area from damage,
e.g.  with thick cardboard.

A Phillips screwdriver is required for this step.

The device must be connected to the prepared
outgoing air line using the asymmetrical flange. The
flange's approx. two cm-long pipe section is
inserted completely into the outgoing air line's 150
mm round pipe. The asymmetrical flange is secured
to the fan box attachment with four screws and can
be installed in various positions by turning it. This
enables minor outgoing air line pipe installation
tolerances to be compensated. The cover must be
reinstalled after installing the flange.

Proceed as follows to connect the device to the
outgoing air line:
