How to start a single test
Select the required test and then start it by pressing Enter.
Chapter “Connecting the test probe during zero balancing” on page 45 describes the various
options for PE conductor testing.
Example: Measuring the PE conductor resistance of a device with permanently attached lead
Sets the single test up as a user-defined test in the main menu.
ENTER key
Starts the single test.
During the PE conductor test, the low-resistive continuity of the PE conductor is
tested with a high current (> 10 A). This produces heat energy.
If the PE conductor test is repeated frequently and without breaks during manual
testing or single tests, UNIMET® 1100ST will prevent overheating by aborting
testing. A message will appear. PE conductor testing can continue once a short
cool-down period has elapsed.
Stops the test. The last measured value remains on the display. Press
to continue the test.
Prints the test result to a connected printer.
Exit single test.
