Place the carrier on to the horizontal mounting bracket approximately 2
inches to the right of its final position.

The hook on the back of the carrier should rest on the top flange of the
horizontal mounting bracket.

5.

Slide the carrier to the left until it stops when it bottoms out on the vertical
mounting bracket.

Make sure that the bottom of the carrier is secured by the vertical mounting
bracket.

6.

Secure the left and right mounting brackets to the backboard with a
minimum of one 10 X 3/4” long wood screw in each bracket as shown in
Figure 2-7.

7.

Connect the ground-screw on the carrier to an approved ground by using a
#12 AWG or #14 AWG solid copper wire. See Figure Figure 2-3 on page
2-13.
