and Business Cordless 905 Telephones

Overview

5

In MERLIN MAGIX, you can connect TransTalk MDW 9031 (MDW 9031) and
Business Cordless 905 (BC 905) telephones to an 016 ETR module. The
system recognizes the MDW 9031 and BC 905 telephones as MLS-12D
telephones and assigns buttons accordingly. However, neither the BC 905 nor
the MDW 9031 telephone has the same number of buttons as the MLS-12D
telephone. Therefore, you must reassign the factory-set buttons to avoid user
confusion.

Neither the MDW 9031 telephone nor the BC 905 telephone has a
speakerphone. Therefore, set the Voice Announce feature to “off” for
these telephones (

). If the Voice Announce is set to “on” and the

telephone receives a voice-announced call, the telephone cannot ring
to signal the incoming call.
